Woven & Embroidered Badges

We supply woven and embroidered badges through our sister company. Each badge can have up to eight colours—although the most cost-effective price is for five colours. Badges can be almost any size or shape and are finished with overlock stitching in a choice of colour, or, for complex shapes, are hot-knife cut. The most popular shapes are round or oblong; popular sizes are 75mm circular or 40 x 60mm rectangular.

Woven badges are ideal for detailed artwork and small lettering, and for where a smooth, flat finish is required. Your design is woven into the cloth and a backing is then applied. The badge is finished with an overlock-stitched edge or, for intricate designs, is hot-knife cut to prevent the edges from fraying.

For embroidered badges, your artwork is embroidered onto a backing material, creating a raised finish with a tactile quality. The badge is then laser-cut to shape and finished with an overlock-stitched edge. Alternatively, the badge can be hot-knife cut to shape, leaving a border around the badge. A heat-applied backing is also available for embroidered badges.
